On Ash Wednesday, Pope Benedict XVI continued an ancient tradition, processing from Santa Anselmo Church on the Aventine Hill in Rome, to the beautiful 5th-century basilica of Santa Sabina. Here, he presided at Mass and imposed ashes on the faithful. His words, above, have me really considering Lenten resolutions...
